Keep in mind, that truck is nearing 6 model years old. I bought an 04 3500 in 04 and paid around 30k.
If you look around you should be able to find a really good deal on a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. I'd also find out what it has been used for and if it is the '600' or the '555' version.
Any offer will be considered a low ball, but you can find non-worked diesels pretty cheap.
